Our Mission
At Children’s House Montessori School, our mission is to foster growth, nurture peace, and inspire creativity by providing a thoughtfully prepared Montessori environment for children ages 18 months through kindergarten. We honor each child’s individuality, encouraging independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Through intentional teaching, respectful guidance, and strong family partnerships, we cultivate a peaceful and enriching space where children flourish socially, emotionally, and academically, laying the foundation for compassionate, capable, and curious learners.
What is Montessori?
Montessori is an educational approach developed by Dr. Maria Montessori that is centered around the belief that children learn best when they are free to explore, move, and choose their own activities within a thoughtfully prepared environment. It emphasizes hands-on learning, independence, and respect for each child’s unique pace of development.
Rather than traditional teacher-led instruction, Montessori teachers guide and observe, supporting children as they build confidence, concentration, and a love of learning.
